The film premiered at the 8th annual HollyShorts Film Festival, where it was picked up for distribution by Shorts International.
“Trixie’s Score” was awarded BEST SCREENPLAY and BEST ACTRESS (Sara Lynne Wright) in the Feminism on Film category of the Women’s Independent Film Festival. It was one of 25 out of 1000 shorts selected to screen at the Seattle International Film Festival Cinema as part of the Seattle Shorts Film Festival and showed at the Grand Junction Film Festival.
ABOUT THE FILM
A high school bookworm aims to gain popularity by realizing a fantasy based on Victorian erotica. As she attempts to seduce her SAT tutor, her notions of romance clash with reality.
This is for anyone who has tried to fit into a group and received only skeptical looks. Or anyone who has questioned the company they keep. Or anyone who had a rough time in high school.
